Although counter-intuitive, citing darkly comic--or sometimes just dark--woes gives me something for which to live. For me, one of the only ways to stave off depression is through doing something creative, however small. Also, I like to complain. So each day I will share a reason to Die! [with the occasional reason to LIVE when I'm feeling oddly optimistic].

I saw in a movie that if you write the name of the person you love on a cigarette and smoke it they will be yours. I just did it and am nuts enough to be sitting around waiting for it to happen. Or to get lung cancer, whichever comes first. |
